Why BPDT?
When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the time and patience for dog training and socialization. With many satisfied owners and loved pets, you can rely on us to care for your pets when you're away. Our team offers a personal training experience for your dog. With daily updates, photos, and posts to our social media page, we strive to keep you informed on your dogs progress. Our force free methods and proven training methods will give your dog realistic and reliable training results.
Quality Pet Care
For over a year, we have been serving the pets and families of our local Greenville/Spartanburg area. We love training with dogs and creating everlasting relationships. We provide care for your fur baby as if they were our own, and ensure that they receive high quality obedience training. We are patient, firm, and pawsitively fun, and strive to keep your dog happy while they learn.
Public Outings and Socialization
We are always prepared for any pet's needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best training experience. Their happiness and safety is our priority when we train in public places. We set each dog up for success and introduce them to new places, sounds, smells, and noises. Socialization is a key factor to reducing anxious and reactive behaviors. We work on many commands; sit stay around distractions, sitting to greet people, coming when called, loose leash walking around the public etc. We use field trips to boost a dogs confidence, and to challenge their training commands.
Meet Our Trainers
The Owner
Meet Brittani; a caring, driven, and experienced Dog Trainer. Brittani started her career in 2018 and has trained more than 3,000 dogs since then. Brittani has loved animals since she was a little girl and has worked with a variety of dog breeds. She is involved in many styles of training; Therapy Dog, Service Dog, Obedience, Trick Training, Bite Work, Dock Diving and so much more. She teaches owners about K9 health, obedience training, and the importance of giving your dogs the best quality of life. Brittani has worked with many dog rescues; NBRAN, The Day Before The Rainbow, etc to offer her services to help dogs who need the extra work to find their forever home. Brittani's personal dogs have AKC obedience titles and Dock Diving titles through NADD. Brittani has devoted her life to making a difference in training dogs, in order to help dogs achieve more freedom and happiness in their day to day life.
Jessica Biggs
Jessica is one of our full time Trainers, and has many amazing qualities; patience, confidence, humility, and can improvise training to fit each and every dogs needs. She is the co-owner of Upstate K9 Kardio, and has always had a passion for working with dogs. Training dogs gives her the opportunity to teach safety and training techniques to their owners. She looks forward to helping owners and their dogs communicate in a way that benefits their relationship. Her goals are to help people see what amazing companions dogs can be, with proper training and exercise. We are so happy to have Jessica on our team.
Christy Nicholson
Christy is one of our full time Trainers and is the other co-owner of Upstate K9 Kardio. Her goal is to make a positive impact on dogs and their families, by teaching dogs manners, impulse control, and obedience. Christy's personal dog Copper has tested and passed all three CGC, CGCA, and CGCU titles. For Christy, Dog Training is a joyous career. She looks forward to working with all kinds of breeds and their needs. Christy is creative, compassionate, determined, and animated. She has been a great addition to our team.
