Dog training is more than teaching obedience—it’s about creating a confident, happy companion you can enjoy everywhere life takes you.
Every dog learns differently. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. Each program is customized to your dog’s personality, learning style, and goals while progressing at a pace that encourages success.
From neighborhood walks to busy public environments, your dog will learn how to make good choices around real-life distractions—not just in a training room.
With personalized attention, regular progress updates, and a commitment to your dog’s success, you’ll always know exactly how your dog is progressing throughout their training journey.

At Brittani’s Pawsitive Dog Training, every dog is treated like family. My goal is to build confident, well-mannered companions through positive, fair, and consistent training. Whether your dog is learning basic obedience, working through behavioral challenges, or preparing for Service Dog task training, every program is tailored to their individual needs.
I believe training should be both enjoyable and rewarding. By building trust and clear communication, I help dogs develop reliable manners while creating lasting relationships with their families.

At Brittani’s Pawsitive Dog Training, every public outing is carefully planned with your dog’s safety, confidence, and success in mind. Each training session is tailored to your dog’s individual skill level, ensuring they are challenged without becoming overwhelmed.
Public outings provide valuable opportunities to introduce dogs to new environments, sights, sounds, surfaces, people, and distractions in a positive, controlled manner. Appropriate socialization plays an important role in building confidence and can help reduce fear, anxiety, and reactivity over time.
During these outings, dogs practice real-world obedience skills, including:
These experiences help dogs generalize their training beyond the home, creating reliable behaviors wherever life takes them. Every outing is designed to strengthen obedience, improve confidence, and build a calm, well-mannered companion.
A service dog is individually trained to perform specific tasks that mitigate a person’s disability. My program focuses on building confident, reliable service dogs through obedience, public access, and task training. Every dog is evaluated and trained based on their individual temperament, abilities, and the unique needs of their handler.

The ADA does not restrict service dogs by breed or size. However, not every dog is suited for service work. Temperament, health, trainability, confidence, and the tasks required should all be considered when selecting a service-dog prospect. Each dog is evaluated individually to determine whether service work is an appropriate and realistic goal.

A service dog must be individually trained to perform at least one task directly related to its handler’s disability. The dog must also remain under control and demonstrate safe, appropriate behavior in public. Reliable obedience, confidence, neutrality, and the ability to work calmly around everyday distractions are essential for successful service work.

Service-dog foundations should begin as early as possible with age-appropriate socialization, confidence building, manners, and basic obedience. Starting young helps develop strong habits, but training must progress at the dog’s individual pace. Older dogs may also be considered based on their health, temperament, and prior training. The ADA does not set a minimum age for service dogs.
Training begins with a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether your dog is a suitable service dog prospect. If accepted, each dog receives an individualized training program focused on obedience, public access, and customized task training. Because every handler’s disability and needs are unique, no two service dog training plans are exactly alike.
Private lessons are personalized to your dog’s needs and your family’s goals. Sessions may be held in your home or in public environments, depending on the skills being addressed. Training may include puppy manners, potty training, obedience, leash walking, confidence building, public behavior, and more. Each session lasts approximately one hour.
My Board & Train Program provides an immersive training experience where your dog lives in a structured home environment while receiving personalized, one-on-one training throughout the day. Every program is customized to your dog’s individual temperament, goals, and learning style.
During their stay, your dog will enjoy:
Training doesn’t stop after a lesson—it’s reinforced throughout your dog’s daily routine. Rather than simply learning commands, dogs develop confidence, reliability, and the ability to make good choices in everyday life.
You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can follow your dog’s progress every step of the way. Each program includes a private lesson at pick-up, a complimentary refresher lesson, and lifetime support throughout your dog’s training journey to help ensure long-term success at home.
Your dog can enjoy a comfortable, structured stay in my home while you’re away. Each boarding experience includes personalized care, supervised playtime, daily exercise, enrichment, appropriate socialization, scheduled rest, and regular photo and video updates—so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Hi, I’m Brittani—the owner and trainer behind Brittani’s Pawsitive Dog Training, LLC.
Since 2018, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs and their families build stronger relationships through clear communication, trust, and personalized training. I believe every dog is an individual, which is why I tailor every program to each dog’s temperament, learning style, and goals.
My experience ranges from raising well-mannered family companions to training task-trained service dogs, advanced obedience, behavior modification, and AKC performance sports. My own dogs actively compete in AKC events, including Obedience, Rally, Scent Work, Dock Diving, Trick Dog, Fast CAT, and more—giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine behavior, drive, and learning.
I’m also a Golden Retriever preservation breeder through Glimmer Goldens, where I focus on producing healthy, structurally sound, and temperamentally stable dogs capable of excelling as family companions, performance dogs, and service dog prospects.
Whether we’re working on puppy foundations, behavior challenges, or advanced training, my goal remains the same: to help dogs become confident, reliable companions while giving owners the knowledge and support to continue their success long after training ends.
When your dog trains with me, they aren’t just learning commands—they’re learning how to confidently navigate the real world through fair, consistent, and thoughtful training.
